I am a studio potter living and working in Nanaimo, British Columbia. I have been an active potter for the past 17 years. My work is primarily functional thrown and altered works which are wood-fired in the Tozan Noborigama kiln.  The wood firing process is an integral part in the creation of the work.

My recent shows and exhibitions include the Aomori International Wood-fire Festival in 2002 in Aomori, Japan, a group

show of Tozan fired work at the Gallery of BC Ceramics, several recent guild shows with the Nanaimo Pottery Co-op, exhibitions at the Nanaimo Art Gallery in 2001, 2003, 2005, and 2009, and at the Nanaimo Arts Council as well as several open studio shows in the Nanaimo Old City Art Tour.

I am also represented at the Art 10 Studio in Nanaimo Pieces of my work are in the collections of the cities of Goshogawara, Aomori Prefecture, Japan and Iwatsuki, Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
