The Nanaimo Pottery Co-operative was established in 1978 to provide opportunities for mid- Vancouver Island potters from Ladysmith to Courtenay, to share knowledge and enthusiasm for working with clay, in all its forms.

From the dedicated professional to the casual hobbyist, the Co-operative is an inclusive and welcoming community of potters that strive to support studio pottery as a professional and recreational activity.
